Amit Pandit, an experienced Pharmaceutical Chemist, brings a wealth of expertise with 9 years of research and 3 years of industrial experience. Prior to joining NMIMS-Indore, Dr. Pandit served as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Institute of Pharmacy, Freie University (FU) Berlin, Germany, for a duration of two years. During his tenure in Germany, he engaged in interdisciplinary research, collaborating with the Institute of Biochemistry at FU and the Faculty of Pharmacy at the University of Ljubljana in Slovenia. The focus of his project was the "Design, synthesis, and biological characterization of multitargeted Indolamine-2,3-dioxygenase (IDO) / Tryptophan-2,3-dioxygenase (TDO) inhibitors."
Dr. Pandit earned his Ph.D. from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Indore, specializing in Medicinal and Organic Chemistry. His academic journey includes a Master's in Pharmacy in Pharmaceutical Chemistry and a Bachelor's in Pharmacy from the School of Pharmacy, DAVV Indore.
