Ms. Sunishtha pursued BALLB (Hons.) and LLM (Criminal Law) from the National Law Institute University, Bhopal and currently pursuing her Ph.D. in the area of Victimology.
She started her academic career in Pune from the year 2016 and delivered lectures on Gender justice, Family law, Constitutional law, Alternative Dispute Resolution System and Law of Torts in the Bharti Vidya Peeth Deemed University, Balaji University, Ajeenkya D Y Patil University and Symbiosis Law School, Pune. She was appointed in School of Law, Indore, SVKM’s NMIMS in January 2023.
She has a research work related to gender justice and published some of them in indexed journals. She participates in the conferences and development program related to gender justice, animal rights and criminal justice system. She is involved in various initiatives for ‘Gender Sensitization’ and workshops related to ‘Sexual Abuse against Children’. She has been equally active in safety drives for street animals and community based measures for ‘Protection of Animal Rights’.
